Women's Tennis to Battle Stetson and Milwaukee

DeLAND, Fla. - Following a 15-day layoff from competition, the Illinois State women's tennis team (6-3) resumes play at Stetson (8-1) Tuesday, March 11. The Redbirds will then return to Normal, Ill., to host their third home match of the year against Milwaukee (4-5) this Saturday, March 15.

Over the course of the last 10 season, the Redbirds have faced Stetson twice, with both matches resulting in Redbird victories. This season, the Hatters have won eight-straight matches since opening the season with a loss at Florida State.

Meanwhile, the Redbirds have battled Milwaukee five times over the last 10 seasons, with ISU winning each time. Illinois State is 1-1 at home so far this year.

The Redbirds first head to Florida to battle Stetson Tuesday. Competition begins at 1:30 p.m. CST. After that, Illinois State will host Milwaukee at Evergreen Racquet Club in Bloomington, Ill., on March 15, beginning at 1 p.m. CST.
