NORMAL, Ill. -
Start times of all three of the Illinois State softball team's games at Missouri State this weekend in Springfield, Mo., have been changed. The Redbirds and Bears will now begin their Missouri Valley Conference series Friday with a 1 p.m. doubleheader, pushed up two hours from the originally-scheduled 3 p.m. start. In addition, the two teams will close out their conference set Saturday with a single game at noon, one hour earlier than previously scheduled.
Illinois State will be playing in its first competition in nearly three weeks Friday when it takes on host Missouri State at the Missouri State Softball Field in Springfield, Mo. The Redbirds have had 10-straight games either postponed or cancelled due to inclement weather, including Tuesday's non-conference game against in-state rival Illinois.
