NORMAL, Ill. - Coming off a dominating win in the 2012 season opener, Illinois State football head coach should have a lot to say at The Brock Spack Show, which will be held live each Thursday throughout the season from 6-7 p.m., at Schooners in Bloomington, Ill.

Spack will recap last weekend's 56-14 victory at Hancock Stadium over Dayton and will preview the team's game Saturday at Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) and Mid-American Conference foe Eastern Michigan at Rynearson Stadium in Ypsilanti, Mich.

The Redbirds head into the game ranked No. 18 by The Sports Network in its FCS Top 25 poll, thanks to a strong performance last week where they held the flyers to just 54 yards on the ground. The Eagles head into the game 0-1, after dropping their season opener to Ball State by a score of 37-26. The two teams have met 30 times previously, but have not faced off on the gridiron since 1981. The series is tied 12-12-6, but the Redbirds have won the last four meetings against the Eagles and seven out of the last nine games overall.

Co-hosts Dick Luedke and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and will also welcome senior middle linebacker Mike Zimmer to the show to get his thoughts on the game against the Eagles. The Wheeling, Ill., native has played in over 30 games in his Redbird career and had four tackles and a sack in last week's win over Dayton.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC AM-1230 and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities and on Your online source for Illinois State Athletics, tickets, Weisbecker Scholarship gifts, multimedia, Redbird merchandise, photos and more.
