NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State football team has a bye week, following its season-opening loss on the road at Ball State, but head coach Brock Spack will be at Schooners live Thursday night for the Brock Spack Show at 6 p.m.

Coach Spack will talk about last week's game against the Cardinals and preview what his team is doing during the bye week to prepare for nationally-ranked Eastern Illinois and the Mid-America Classic on Sept. 14 in Charleston, Ill. Co-hosts Craig Bertsche and Ted Schmitz will interact with coach Spack during the hour-long show and will be joined by player guest Matt Goldsmith.

Goldsmith, a senior defensive back from Clinton, Md., started at cornerback for the Redbirds last Thursday at Ball State and recorded four tackles, including a half tackle-for-loss, to go along with a pass breakup. In his four-year career at ISU, Goldsmith has played in 32 games for the Redbirds and has recorded a total of 58 tackles.

Schooners is located at 810 East Grove Street in Bloomington, and sits just off the corner of Grove and Clinton Streets. For those who can't make it out to Schooners to watch the show live, it will be broadcast on WJBC 1230 AM and 93.7 FM in the Twin Cities, on and on the iHeart Radio app for smartphones.
