Redbird Coaches Show at Pub II Tonight

Dec. 15, 2011

NORMAL, Ill. - The Redbird Basketball Coaches Shows are on the air tonight, live from the Pub II in Normal, Ill. Fans can listen live on, as Stephanie Glance and Tim Jankovich preview the four Redbird games next week, including two home games for the men's team and a home game for the women's team before traveling to Ann Arbor, Mich., to take on Michigan.

The Stephanie Glance Show, co-hosted by RC McBride and Jill Hutchison, starts out the night at 6 p.m. Coach Glance will be joined by sophomore forward Marley Hall. The women's team will host DePaul, Monday, Dec. 19, after the Redbirds defeated Western Kentucky, 71-45, a week ago (Dec. 9) in Redbird Arena. Hall had a career-high week and continues to be a dominate force for the Redbirds down low. Hall recorded the third double-double of her career against Illinois (Dec. 7) with 21 points and 11 rebounds in 31 minutes of play. She was 6-of-8 from the field and 9-of-13 from the charity stripe. Two nights later in ISU's win over WKU (Dec. 9), Hall just missed another double-double, as she finished the game with 18 points and nine rebounds.

The Tim JankovichShow follows at 7 p.m., hosted by Dick Luedke and Mike Matthews. Coach Jankovich will be joined by redshirt sophomore forward Jon Ekey. The men's team looks to get back into action after not playing a game in 11 days, which is the school's longest regular-season drought between games since the 1967-68 season. The Redbirds last game was against Morehead State (Dec. 7) when ISU won, 78-73. Ekey has scored in double figures in every game but two this season, including seven of the last eight games overall. He is currently averaging 12.6 points and 4.4 rebounds per contest.

For those not able to attend the show in person, it will be broadcast live on WJBC and on Your online source for Illinois State Athletics, tickets, Weisbecker Scholarship Fund gifts, multimedia, Redbird merchandise, photos and more.
