Men's Basketball at SIU Game to Air on Comcast SportsNet Chicago

NORMAL, Ill. - The Illinois State men's basketball team's Missouri Valley Conference regular-season finale at Southern Illinois - Saturday, March 1 at 3 p.m. - will be televised live on Comcast SportsNet Chicago as part of ISU's institutional TV package.

Kurt Pegler and Bob Morris will once again provide play-by-play and color analysis, respectively. The ISU at SIU game was made available to air on Comcast SportsNet Chicago based on the MVC's Wildcard Weekend telecast plans. Illinois State fans can watch the Redbirds on Comcast SportsNet Chicago via Comcast Ch. 56 / 522 / 922, DirecTV Ch. 665, Dish Ch. 429 and AT&T U-Verse Ch. 741 / 1741.

The March 1 telecast will mark ISU's sixth institutional men's basketball broadcast of the season on Comcast SportsNet Chicago. The Redbird men will have appeared live on cable television 10 times and via a digital network platform - such as ESPN3 - 13 times by the end of the regular season.

The Illinois State at Southern Illinois contest is now finalized for a 3 p.m. tipoff to accommodate Comcast SportsNet Chicago's coverage.
