Will Veasley knows what it takes to be successful. The all-time winningest player in Butler history and a starter on the Bulldog's 2010 National Championship runner-up team, Veasley was hired as Illinois State's video coordinator July 16, 2013.
Veasley, who holds a degree in digital media production, played collegiately at Butler and professionally for two years, before transitioning into coaching.
Most recently, Veasley was the video coordinator at IUPUI for one season. While at IUPUI, Veasley was in charge of film exchange, film editing and oversaw the design and distribution of individual recruitment portfolios.
Veasley was a four-year letterwinner at Butler and helped his team make four-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Final Four run in 2010. Veasley and the Bulldogs were the regular-season Horizon League champions for four-straight years and won the Horizon League Tournament in 2008 and 2010. For his performances on the defensive end of the floor during the 2009-10 season, Veasley was named to the Horizon League All-Defensive Team.
Veasley began his professional career in the BJ League, playing with Niigata Albirex in Niigata City, Japan, for a season before being selected as a fifth-round selection by the Rio Grand Valley Vipers of the NBA D-League. Veasley also worked camps with coaches Brad Stevens and Todd Howard.
