Landon Evans arrived at Illinois State University in January 2005 after being hired as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Prior to coming to Illinois State, Landon was a student assistant strength and conditioning coach at Iowa State University for two years. In this capacity he helped with the design and implementation of all the Cyclone Olympic sports programs, in addition to men's and women's basketball.
Additionally, Evans completed a strength and conditioning practicum at Central College working with the Dutch football team, where he assisted with the design and implementation of all aspects of their strength and conditioning program.
Evans graduated from Iowa State University in 2005 and is currently finishing his master's degree in exercise physiology. He and his wife Stephanie reside in Bloomington.
