Steiner Joins ISU's Corporate Partnerships
NORMAL, Ill. – Mark Steiner has been named the assistant director of corporate partnerships at Illinois State, according to Associate Athletics Director for Communications Todd Kober. Steiner will officially begin his position today, adding a second full-time staff member to the corporate partnerships division.
Steiner, who worked the past two years as a graduate assistant at Illinois State, recently finished his Master’s degree in sport management at ISU. The Cedar Rapids, Iowa native will work with the Director of Corporate Partnerships Andrew Bond in monitoring and solicitation of new corporate partners of the Illinois State Athletics Department.
“We are very excited to add Mark to our team,” said Bond. “His enthusiasm, and ties to the ISU and Bloomington-Normal community will be a tremendous asset to the Illinois State Athletics Department and its corporate partners.”
Steiner is eager to begin his professional career.
“I am extremely thrilled to continue my career here at ISU. Having lived in the Bloomington-Normal community for six years, I’m looking forward to creating new and strengthening current relationships within our community,” Steiner explained. “I am honored to be a part of the successful team already in place and the entire staff here at ISU.”
As a graduate assistant, Steiner contributed to raising funds through ticket sales and donations by increasing the overall ticket revenue generated for football and men’s basketball through group ticket and season ticket sales. Steiner also developed fan experience packages to enhance Reggie’s Kids Club and assisted with the construction of the sales piece utilized to enhance the sales of premium seating for the Hancock Stadium renovation.
